Another superhero that rose from tragedy, Batman is known as the ultimate vigilante.

His journey began when he was eight years old. While coming out of the theatre at Gotham City with his parents, Martha and Thomas, an armed burglar attacked them and tried to still his mother’s pearl necklace.
When his father confronted the villain he shot him and his wife, leaving the scarred Wayne all alone in the world.

Wayne was lost, and he needed a guiding hand. He found it with Dr. Leslie Thompkins, who helped him stand on his feet and find his destiny.
The journey took Wayne 12 years, which he dedicated to study, stealth, Man-hunting and healing, getting his education by the best teachers in the world.

But Wayne knew he couldn’t just go out and face the bad guys, he needed something else, something that will make the criminal at Gotham City tremble when they see him.
The decision to become Batman occurred when he was at his father’s study and a bet crashed in. That was the sign Batman was looking for.

Using his vast wealth Wayne designed the bet outfit and the Bat mobile, and became the night guardian of Gotham City – the Batman!
