What would you do if you were a Mutant?

Let’s say you’re a mutant like Wolverine, Piro, Storm, Rogue, Cyclope – What would you do?

Which side would you take?

Do you think Mutants and Humans are capable of living together?

There will always be people that hate Mutants, fear them and resent them. Is it possible to co-exist?

Will you accept this…?

I’m sure there is no easy answer to that question It all depends which one you are – a mutant or a human.

But considering the human nature, the need to conquer and to be superior of others, and most important – the fear of the different and unknown – there is no way those two organism can leave together in harmony.

Mutant point of view

Being a mutant doesn’t necessarily mean you should NOT be afraid of the humans.

It depends on you mutation. Not everyone are like Wolverine and can heal themselves.

But mutants DO have an advantage over humans, and that’s enough to make people afraid and suspicious of them.

They ARE the next step in human evolution, which makes them physically superior, therefore poelpe are intimidated by them.

There will always be people with extreme opinions that comes from fear and prejudice that will want to hunt and suppress the mutants.

N one wants to hide and leave in fear like Raven did all her youth life, like the Beast, like Magneto and many others.

It didn’t improve when they came out and reveal themselves, even when they saved the earth from a nuclear war.

The first reaction the human did was firing at the beach and try to kill them all.

If it was me I would most likely use my powers to retaliate !

We already saw in the movies that mutants are humans with special abilities, that means they are not robots without feelings. They feel, they hurt and they get angry, so if someone treats them unfairly or hurt them, they will react the same as you and I will – only THEY have more options to respond. They can hurt you, for real because of their special abilities.

Human point of view

There is no doubt that humans have all the reasons to be scared!

That’s right. Who wouldn’t be, if he knew a mutant like Magneto or Raven are out there, planing to exerminate us humans and can do so whenever they feel like?

Same as there are ignorant humans there are also ignorant mutants, but they are also fill with hate and anger because of our behaviour.

So how can we defend ourselves? We can’t just sit tight while there’s a constant threat over our head, right?

We have to do something before they will attack, at least develope a defensive weapon if that day will come. Isn’t that what we always say to ourselves even today…?

The problem is that the mutants will refer to this action as a provocation, like we are planing something, and they will want to strike first.

I just drew the basic scenario that comes to mind (and the most logic one) and I already started a war between the humans and the mutants. How about that?

Sure, there will be plenty of humans that will protest against military actions, but they won’t change a thing. It’s like the aliens issue, we don’t know if they exist (at least WE don’t know), but what would we do if alien arrive to earth?

Will we try to communicate and see first if they come in peace or not? or will we shoot first ask later just be safe?

Back to our matter, mutants are already here, so we need to take action now, not later.

Do we accept the fact that mutants are part of life on earth and see if we can leave together and fight against the bad mutants, or do we take prevent actions because we are scared of the unknown?

Mutants and Humans – Conclusions

There are similar reasons on both sides why the two can’t join forces together and co-exist.

I believe they are both afraid one another and that reason will cause them to take extreme measures that will ultimately lead to an extensive war, which the mutants will win of course.

Even the mutants that will choose to fight side by side with the humans like Xavier,Storm and the other X members did would not be able to prevent the extinction of the human race from the hands of such powerfull mutants like Magneto, Raven, Piro and their amazing friends.

Because we have to face it – they are truely amazing creatures, aren’t they…?
